Hospital Beds Miraculously Arrive Just in Time
Hope and Healing International is Thankful for the Generosity of Umano Medical
Through the support of Hope and Healing International, The Luke Commission serves the most isolated and underserved people of Eswatini with free and comprehensive health care. During the height of the third wave, 90% of Eswatini’s COVID-19 ICU patients were admitted to their Miracle Campus. As the number of inpatients grew to 3,670, healthcare providers wondered where they would put all the patients God was entrusting them with.
With just days before the campus reached full capacity, a container of RESC-U beds, a donation in kind from Umano Medical based in L’Islet Quebec, arrived allowing the team to scale up both a COVID-19 patient recovery area and an outdoor patient receiving area.
These kinds of solutions only happen through God’s grace. God asks us to offer our best – to show Jesus’ love to the world, and God fills the gaps with grace.
Echo VanderWal, Executive Director of The Luke Commission shares her gratitude for the timely and much-needed aid, “Thanks so much. Truly this shipment of beds came right on time. We only had to use the floor for 4 days and then the containers arrived. It was such a blessing and the staff were so touched and encouraged to see God’s provision.”
